Paint the Beach with Me at Escondido Adult School

When we first moved back to Southern California and started going to the beach, I wanted to learn how to paint beach scenes. So I took my sketchbook, pencils and paint to the beach, found a rock to sit on and tried to figure out how to depict the ocean, it's waves, the sand, the seaweed and more. It took some trial and error paintings until I found watercolor tecniques to paint beaches.
I will teach you all my beach painting and drawing techniques in 3 Wednesday workshops beginning July 10th at Escondido Adult School on Crest in Escondido from 9-12. Register by calling or online. I hope to see you thete, Room 104, bathing suits optional...

Your notebook paintings are enchanting. Something about being in the notebooks adds to their expressiveness I think. And the fact that you painted them right there at the scene. It makes them very special. To me the beauty of a piece of art is partly in the way that it was created, as well as in the finished product. I know your workshop will be well appreciated by all who have the opportunity to participate!
