French Watercolor Journal Discoveries

I found these paintings in an old journal from France. The journal was dusty from sitting on a top shelf that no one ever dusted. When I opened the journal old candy wrappers from dark chocolate fluttered out and landed on the tile floor.
Who would collect candy wrappers in their journal and leave it on an old shelf to gather dust?
I guess I would. It was my journal that I painted in during my last workshop in the French countryside village of Durfort, France. In early Sept. 2014, I will be teaching at La Cascade, again. To learn more about La Cascade, the village of Durfort visit www.gwengibson.com

Hello Barbara! Your watercolor paintings are breathtakingly beautiful! Love the colors.

Oh and I like how you put your hair up into a twist and secured it with a pencil through it!
