Pens From Everywhere Drawing

So, I have a new idea or maybe you've already thought of it, but it's new to me.... I am fascinated with the pens that most business' have on their desks with their business name printed on them. Currently, where ever I go and see one of these pens, I ask for one. Sometimes when I am feeling rambuncious, I just assume they are there for the taking and don't ask. Anyway, then I go home or somewhere and do a drawing using the pen from the business. I always write whose pen I used on my drawing. Since I currently have a small collection of these "advertising" pens you should see some of them posted on my blog in the near future. Is this idea appealing to you? If so, why don't you try it and let me know how it goes for you.

I "steal" pens too! My friends get mad at me. Maybe if I could draw a picture like that they wouldn't care as much. :)
Great idea.

ooooh, Barbara...I show up and there is a new look to your blog! i LIKE it! And I really love your "clepto-pen" idea :-) I just ordered the book Sketchbook Confidential from Amazon, and hopefully it will motivate me to start sketching again...drawing what I see. Of course, I will need a new sketchbook, and I will need to troll the town for some new business pens (new supplies are ALWAYS a good thing! :-)

Roberta, you will delight in finding those "give away" pens everywhere. Just in case you desperately need a new sketchbook as you mentioned, may I suggest one of the Handbook Sketchbooks made by Global Art. I love the regular ones, not the watercolor ones and especially the landscape format ones. You can find them in the usual places. Happy Holidays

Hey, I have seen you draw and you do just fine. So help yourself to the next free pen you find and take it out drawing. You'll do great and I'd love to see your results.
