My New Villa

Here is a picture of the villa I just purchased in Tuscany. It is down the hill from Cortona, but still in a nice part of Tuscany. As you can see my villa has a walkway leading up to it lined with cypress trees. I do think a cypress tree lined walkway is the only way to have one. Probably I will have to remodel my villa and will spend a while doing so and write a best selling novel about the process. I think its a good idea to paint one's dreams when you have a day off to paint, don't you?

"Dream Big" is my motto too, Barbara! I LOVE this villa painting! I think the walkway is the clincher :-)
Oh, and while we are dreaming...can you dream me up a little flat in Florence, where I can live for a month or so, and do nothing but drink cappucino and create art, while walking in the footsteps of Michelangelo?
Thanks :-)

One must have a cottage on the grounds to be used as a studio during resorations without interruptions to creative efforts....I would like to visit your Villa!

Beautiful. Do you have an extra room for your sister-in-law who will care for you in your old age?
