While trying to think of ways to raise money to help Japan, this idea came to me. I painted this watercolor in 2007 from a photo I took when I toured Japan in the 1980's. I printed it as a card and now will sell packs of 6 cards and envelopes for $5 and give all of the profits beyond my basic costs to the Salvation Army's Japan Relief Fund. In addition, if anyone is interested in purchasing the original painting I will sell it to the highest bidder and donate the money to the Salvation Army Japan fund as well. If you would like to order a set of cards for $5, or bid on my painting, please email me at rabjsl@pacbell.net and I will send you payment info. Thanks and I hope this works, because my baking skills are lousey so a bake sale is out to raise money.....
