Watercolor Journaling in Siena

The beautiful city of Siena is located in the heart of central Tuscany. On May 15th, 2014, we will arrive in Siena and settle into a renovated 15th century nobleman's home now turned into a hotel.  With our sketchbooks in hand, we'll spend a week wandering the narrow streets of Siena and drive through the castle dotted countryside to visit some of the neighboring historic towns of Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, Pienza and more. I'll provide daily watercolor and drawing lessons tailored to your needs and help you paint whatever you choose from the wonderful abundant Tuscan scenery. You can paint in a pocket size journal or on your favorite size of watercolor paper. You'll bring home paintings, sketches and photos that you will enjoy for years to come. No matter if you are a beginner or seasoned painter, I can help you at whatever level of skill you have. Non painting friends are welcome of course.
During your week in Tuscany, we will also visit museums, galleries, churches, restaurants and shops (especially shoe stores!). You'll have plenty of free time to relax, sip something in a cafe, taste the local wines and/or take a nap. Cost for the week is $3,150. which includes lodging in a shared twin bedroom, daily breakfasts, art lessons, pick up in Florence and all van driven 1/2 day trips. Airfare is not included.
