Today I taught a class at the Poway Library to a group of delightful students. The class topic was how to make your own decorations, gift tags, cards, wrapping paper etc. So I drew the pictures you see above, trying to find an image that fit whatever holiday might be celebrated during this winter season and need a gift tag. Then I printed the tags on 90 lb. watercolor paper and gave them all the copies to paint in class using a variety of watercolor paints, pencils and stamps. A good time was had by all and they were given regular paper copies to take home if they wanted to draw them themselves at home and use them for more holiday projects....Below are some of the examples I painted as samples. Feel free to print out the drawings and make some tags yourself.
