Will Miss Soreze

Today we packed up and left the cottage in the village of Soreze where we spent a week. I will miss this village so much. I'll miss the desk in the corner of the upstairs room where I need to return to and write and illustrate a picturebook. I'll miss the street of cottages built around 500 years ago. I'll miss all the blue shuttered windows I didn't have time to paint, but I have lots of photos that I will be painting all winter and sharing with my students in my classes and I'll be back next Fall to teach a workshop at La Cascade in the neighboring village of Durfort. Stay well little cottage, see ya next year.
