My Bags Are Almost Packed for France

Well, in case you've been checking this blog lately, you may have noticed there hasn't been a post for quite a while. I have been out and about teaching drawing and watercolor. I've also been been getting ready for my Watercolor Holiday Workshop in SW France, Oct. 17-23.

I am very excited about teaching this workshop because it will be in a great new location for me and my students will be wonderful people from all over the country. I have been corresponding with my students for months now and it will be so exciting to finally meet them. The region I am going to is in S.W. and home to 1001 castles! We will be visiting some small villages, seeing the Pech Merle cave paintings, eating fabulous French food and wine, and of course sketching and painting. The photos here are some of the beautiful places we will be visiting in the Dordogne region of France. I will post my paintings when I return.
