It's A Start

I finally got out from under all the packing boxes and went outside to try to sketch a view of the ocean near my house. You must fully understand that this is just my first attempt to try to capture the beauty of my new surroundings. It will probably take many, many attempts to become familiar with the colors, textures and details of beach scenes. Painting outside with an ocean breeze in a sketchbook caused my colors to be quite pale. It's okay, I am willing to practice ocean scenes until I get them right..............
